Review from old notes taken last year at the Lancaster location event. The brew appears a hazy brown color with a khaki head that looks quite creamy and retains well.
The aroma is nice and fruity with suggestions of vanilla. The taste has vanilla/banana upfront blending to earth and chocolate with mild fruitiness. It has almost a meaty mineral thing towards the finish.
This is medium bodied with modest carbonation. Overall creamy feeling and a decent brew. The dubbel is still quite noticeable as the base behind the veil of sourness.
