I tried this on tap at Iron Hill Lancaster- served chilled in a tulip
The color is a murky golden shade, very thick haze with no head but fine bead ring. The smell is very sour with a tropical aspect and subtle odor of brett funk with light lemony accent with a wild/sour dominance in smell. The feel is very tart with puckering quality with mild acidity that builds to strong levels with moderately high carbonation with prickly texture and dry juicy tangy sour finish.
The taste is very tangy with lemon and tropical pineapple-like acidity in taste with slight bitter citrus aspect with mild warmth of alcohol w/ a tannic element as it finishes with super tart and acetic quality. Overall a very tart beer - the amount I drink was double what I would have enjoyed -not much sweetness to cushion all the acetic and agressivley sour quality which increased as it warms with a slight brett quality which is enjoyable but this verges on vinegar - the lemon from the tea seemed sweet next to this.
