This beer came a dark black that picked up a glowing raisin/burgundy near the bottom. The head was a good inch of creamy, pale tan foam. For some reason the insides of the pint glass attracted sheets of mini-bubbles giving the beer a dirty look.

Smells of hazel nuts, roasted marshmallows, bon fire with a bit of home made wheat bread. The balance with the sweetness here is awe-inspiring.

Tastes a bit heavy on the roasted side with a touch of charcoal with a smooth maple along with a dry and herbal essence. Finishes far too smoky form my liking.

The mouthfeel was thin, but delicately creamy.

This one was nice and easy to drink, but the smell stole the show.

An almost opaque midnight hue, with a tight, clinging head of tan foam. Nose was especially pleasant for a stout, with essences of toasted bread and old coffee - very nice.

Its smooth, even on the tongue, with a soothing mix of old coffee, malts and hops. Crisp & dry like its heritage, it rises to a more hopped finish on the throat. This is a nice stout, complex enough to warrant enjoying again but not so overly dry & bitter.

The name truely says it all. Pours that motor-oil color, with the creamy, rich tan head that we know and love from a nitro stout. Smells rich am roasted, almost coffee like, but not quite there yet. Tastes a rick, creamt and deep coco flavor, mixed rightly with a malty backbone. No real hop presence to speak of, but that really doesn't detract from it at all. The name says it all for the finish, it has a sweet, back of the mouth sweet, with a crisp, dry finish to wash it all down, leaving you wanting for some more. Nicely made, look forward to this beer again
