I tried this on tap at the Lancaster location, served chilled in a small stemmed glass.
The color is a golden hue with light haze and white head with lace that sticks lightly with fine bead and good retention. The smell has a good amount of hop with mild floral and herbal odors with slight citrus fragrance and mild malt scent with a a pilsner quality. The feel is light in body with medium carbonation and mild sweetness with slight hop balance with peppery spice accent and semi-dry finish.
The taste is very good with a noticeable hop flavor which is sem-spicy and lightly citrus in nature which works well with the pilsner base and light yeast flavor with a peppery accent to the flavor which is more bitter than sweet. This has high drinkability since it is brewed to be a kolsch with American hops which comes off like a hybrid pilsner/kolsch -more hop forward than traditional kolsch but balanced and dry which makes it very drinkable with gentle citrus resiny hops in the taste.
