Pours a clear, dark golden straw color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Very good retention with streaks of soapy lacing left behind.
Floral, slightly earthy aroma with some grassy hops countered by light fruit sweetness and pale biscuit malts. Subtle hints of fresh cut grass and hop leaf followed by some apple and pear sweetness. Pale malt with some bread, biscuit and cracker.
Light bodied with a crisp hop bite that lingers over the sweeter notes and pale malt into a dry finish. Surprisingly hop forward with a decent amount of dry, sticky bitterness. Hints of pine needle, grass and spruce followed by some sourdough bread, apple, biscuit and crackery malts. Well balanced, easy drinking and surprisingly flavorful considering how light it is.
