Pours a dark chestnut brown color with mahogany edges and two finger off-white head that slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Good retention with sporadic spotty lacing left behind.
Robust roasted malt aroma with a very nice gourmet coffee presence. Roasted beans along with dark chocolate, oatmeal and burnt toast followed by sweeter caramel malt, toffee and dark fruit notes.
Slightly chewy medium body with lightly roasted coffee flavor integrated into robust dark malt notes. Coffee beans, lactic cream, hazelnut, burnt oats, caramel and toffee. Nice coffee presence with a nice balance of sweet and roasted malt flavors.
