This hazy, New England style IPA's been crafted by our finest, tight-pants wearing brewers. It's a blend of wheat and oats, unironically dry hopped with All American hops. Notes of melon, mango and pine lead to flavor so cool it'll curl your mustache.

Poured into a wide mouth grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, hazy/murky, head is brighter white with fine bubbles and presents one finger thick then dissipates to solid top with lacing on glass sides.

Smell is light but comes on with some swirling and warmth - notes of pith, resin, honey, limited grain/malt.

Taste is citrus juice and pith, light honey, resin, oat and biscuit like grain flavor.

Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness with a lingering bite on tongue.

Overall a little thin in aroma and sweet on flavor, missing some carbonation and bitterness for my preference.

Hazy amber color with a thick thin head.
Nice aroma with notes of pineapple, passion fruit, peaches, resin and pine.
Spicy flavor with notes of melon, pine resin, faint passion fruit, a bit of mango, pineapple, white bread, oat and orange juice. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Not so dense spicy Hazy IPA with tropical and resin nuances.

Detected a hemp/rye undertone in this Hazy offer. Not very juicy, to me this was part west coast ipa as well. Mild nose, decent glow and standard feel round out this one. I prefer other IH IPA offerings to this one.

Pours a cloudy pale straw with a nice dense persistent head. Smell is good citrusy hops. Taste is dense, spicy, citrusy, piney hops. Solid sweet malt backbone makes for a nice balance. Really good mouthfeel too- full bodied and creamy. I really like this one. Just a prototypical NEIPA.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as part of a mix-a-six pack for $2. Canned on 11/05/2020, so this is just over 2 months old.

Look: Pours an orangey color with a thick haze - light is barely translucent. Even more opaque as I poured the second half of the can. Nice looking off-white head with very small, compact bubbles. Decent lacing. Very deep color for a NEIPA. Looks nice.

Smell: Lots of tropical and stone fruit on the nose, along with dankness and pine. Loads of dried mango, peach, and passion fruit, also honeydew melon flavors up front. A bit of pepperiness on the finish. There's a bit of a sharp oniony/garlicy note on the finish too, which is interesting.

Taste: It's tasty. The flavors echo the nose. In addition, there's a lot of orange peel flavors on the finish. Just one thing that's weird is that this beer really dries my mouth out. The finish is thick and chalky, so it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I enjoy the flavors of this beer up front, but the way that it finishes is a bit disappointing.

Feel: The mouthfeel is a bit weird, as I indicated in the taste review. I wish that it would finish more refreshingly; instead, the finish is mouth-drying and disappointing. I don't mind if a beer is dry, but to dry out the mouth like this just feels weird.

Overall: My first Iron Hill Brewery beer. It has potential, it's not bad, but not such a winner in my opinion. The aromas are great and the taste was good initially, but the finish on the palate was flat. I have heard good things about some other beers that Iron Hill makes and I would like to try them at some point.

16 ounce can poured into a Duvel tulipglass.

L---Hazy, completely opaque bright golden color. Thick, white head with great retention and spectacular lacing.

S---Sweet, a little medicinal. Some sour smelling tropical fruits. No Bueno.

T---Fruity. a tropical fruit bomb.

F---Medium bodied with good carbonation. Lip smacking.

O---A quality effort by a quality local.

Dude, popped opened a pint can and poured it into a clear glass Imperial pint mug. It was like all cloudy. Yo, it's like filthy. It's a dirty blond with a nice white head. Totally lacing, too. Take a hit of that smell. Sort of like bread, but colder. Tastes a lot like bread, too. Maybe with some reefer, this would taste better. Sometimes too much is too much and this is just too much starch. The oates, often a welcome addition, are overplayed. With the hops, it's strangely sweet and sour, rather than bitter. Bummer, man.

Had this at the Rehoboth Beach, DE location over the past weekend.

A - Mildly hazy with a medium gold color and sticky lacing.

S - Light citrus and melon aroma. The nose is extremely light on this beer.

T - Delicate spicy fruit rind with juicy citrus and melon that eventually gains momentum through the sip.

M - Semi-dry finish with a medium body.

O - Starts out mild but builds nicely.
