Its a triple and tastes like one with a good bit of punch. Did not get a overdose of those holiday flavors this one, just the overcoming thump of a triple, not my style for tasting enjoyment.

Purchased at Wegmans, Warrington, PA. 4pk/16oz cans
Pours a translucent, honey yellow color. A skim of a white head that quickly fades.
Aromas of grassy malts with a slight sweetness.
A tasty Tripel. Flavors of yeast, sugars, banana, clove and malts. The ABV is lurking there and imparts a slightly alcoholic aftertaste.
Medium consistency, mild carbonation.
Overall, a tasty Tripel. Nothing off putting but nothing that sets it apart from other Tripels. Enjoyable but forgettable…Cheers!

Enjoyed a 12 oz pour while dining with Da Boss for lunch at the Greenville, SC location on 12-20-23 for 8.25.
Beer was served golden with a nice white head-4.
Nose was very nice as the yeast imparted phenolic notes of bubblegum-4.25.
Taste was good as the light but substantial pilsner malt base took on the Tripel yeast strain that gave notes of apple and pear along with some bubblegum. Finished with US northwest hops that gave grapefruit and pine leading to a hoppy finish-4.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and pretty smooth-3.75.
Overall this was a fun beer to try as i have been a fan of Belgian IPA's going back to San Diego's heyday with the style in the 2000's! Bought a four pack to go so will re-review soon-4 (4.04 overall)!
Cracking the first of 4-16 oz cans on 12-23-23 acquired at Iron Hill Greenville 12-19-23. Canned 11-12-23.
Beer poured golden with a pretty good white head-3.75.
Nose is pilsner malts that allow the Belgian yeast to express which gives notes pf apple and pear-4.0.
Taste is a pilsner malt base with some apple and pear. Finishes with big American Northwest hops which give notes of grapefruit. Finishes with a big pine bitterness; 7/10 on my scale-4.0.
Mouthfeel is medium to heavy bodied and pretty smooth-3.75.
Overall a very interesting beer and fun to always get back into a Belgian IPA which are far and few between these days-4 (3.96 overall)!

A thanks to the creator of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of fruits, yeast. Taste is fruity, spices, hops and alcohol are also present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Iron Hill Brewery "Reindeer’s Revenge"
16 fl. oz. can coded "BAH HUMBUG CANNED ON 11/16/2110:28"
Look: Hazy golden beneath a full head of white foam that holds well but eventually drops to just a thin collar and whispy surface covering that leaves limited lacing behind.
Smell: Straightforward grainy malt with mild Belgian yeast characteristics (spiciness, banana, otherwise fruity).
Taste: Sweetish, grainy, and grassy Pilsner malt is threaded through with a solid bitterness and notes of a general spiciness (at least in part due to alcohol), white pepper, clove, coriander, banana, peach, sweet berries, candi sugar, apple, plum, soft citrus, and pine. The finish is bitter, spicy, dry, and lightly earthy and piney. Somewhat aggressive but ultimately balanced, and pretty nicely rounded.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp with a delicate bristle on the tongue due to a fine-bubbled and somewhat effervescent carbonation.
Overall: I give Iron Hill points for not doing a standard "spiced" holiday ale; having some uniqueness without jumping the shark; and giving it an agressive 9% ABV and solid bitterness while not going overboard.

American Pale ale meets Belgian Triple.
It's not bad, you'll probably love it if you love hops and Belgian beers.
It is a good holiday brew.
Pours a pale golden, minimal head out of the can.
Smells like hops.
Taste is a hoppy, slightly sweet triple.
Finish is nice and dry.
Albeit too hoppy for a Belgian, I guess it fits in with the American process of over hopping everything.
As far as "Winter Warmers" go, this is far superior to most.

It's a very lightly and brightly straw-amber colored brew that's quite translucent. The white head is modest and enduring. Robust carbonation is observed. It has the Belgian ale yeasty aroma in good measure. The first mouth hit is sweet, a good play between the malt and the alcohol. That "reminds me of banana" aspect, which keeps some away from Belgians, is kept in check here. It is present, but not overwhelming, so a little citus and pine notes can be tasted. Those extra hints make the finish drier, a pleasant finish for a brew that starts out so sweet. Pretty glass lacing helps rescue the visual. The outstanding characteristic of Reindeer's Revenge is its mouthfeel. With a 9.0 ABV, this drinks remarkably smoothly. Add that it brings a little more hoppy bite than most triples, yet remains smooth during the finish. Looks aren't everything and there's much more to appreciate after getting passed the one you get here.

16 oz.can. Golden yellow, mostly clear, with a ½" white head of foam. Initially the bitterness was overwhelming but as the beer warmed the malt sweetness started to come through. Mouthfeel seems a bit thin but not far off for the style.
Not a bad beer but also not one I'll come back to once these cans are finished.

Pours a clear golden amber color with visible carbonation. Nice look, however, I don’t know what happened to the head as a tiny wisp instantaneously dissipates.
The aroma is fruity with interesting notes of melon, grapefruit, banana and stone fruit. Light notes of vinous alcohol spice, bread and pine.
Opens sweet but not boozy with a light and not particularly firm graham cracker base. The candi sugars add a lightness for easy drinking, and yield light alcohol spices. Well spiced with bold hops bitterness. Bright and citrusy notes of grapefruit, banana and melon interact with assertive piney hops spices. The finish is semi dry.
Medium bodied with a mostly smooth but somewhat thin mouthfeel. The carbonation is moderate.
To nitpick, for me it could have used a bit more dryness and malt character. Nevertheless, it’s tasty enough and easy to drink despite not being an outstanding example of the Tripel style.

This is a fairly mild version of a Tripel as far as the intensity of the flavor is concerned. Lots of spice but the candi sugar element is restrained. Medium body and with little in the way of carbonation.
