On cask at Iron Hill Newark's Cask Fest...
Appears a hazy light gold with a mild white head that quickly fades into a gentle film and tiny collar. Small traces of CO2 slowly rise to the top. No lacing is left around the 12 ounce glass.
Smell is of barnyard citrus, lemon zest, funk, nectarines, freshly cut apples, rotten pears, and wet hay.
Taste is pretty much of the mentioned aromas but with an explosion of butter popcorn jellybeans...diacetyl gets the best in the flavor, unfortunately.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, tart, with a blast of molly mcbutter lingering along the palate that just ruins whatever enjoyment I was having for this beer.
