This beer comes a soft gold that seemed to be stained with an amber brown color. The head was a creamy white collar.
Smells of cranberry, lemon funk with some brown sugar, soft breads and a touch of clean woods.
Tastes of a tingly zap of assorted citrus rind and pomegranate. Beneath there is a dry pasty white flour and some green pepper corn, but for the most part, its dominated by the funk. Finishes with a shot of sappy oak and a buttery hazel nut.
Feels quite clean and dense with a raspy thickening carbonation.
Nice, but very similar to other BA brews from this IH.
