Had a pint at the Greenville, SC location while lunching with Da Boss on 10-9-21 for $7.50.
Beer was served a clear golden orange with a nice white head.
Nose was very nice, fresh citrus was very pungent.
Taste was classic WCIPA, my old favorite formula of grapefruit and orange layered nicely over a smaller pale malt base. Finished with a nice piney bite; 7/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall a solid old school WCIPA that i wish we would get to see more often!

I am liking my work schedule more & more with each day! We have gone from six (6) ten-hour (10) days to six (6) eight-hour (8) days & while I am on 3rd Shift (2300 to 0730), it is MUCH more palatable! I no longer feel totally beaten upon returning home & CAN actually get some things acCANplished during the day, including drinking a Crowler's worth of beer for The CANQuest (tm). 8=)
From the Crowler/CAN: "Is it a CAN? No, it's a Growler. No ... it's The Crowler (R)"; "Crowler (R) Nation"; "8/8".
I kind of enjoy the way the tab fights me during the Crack! The lid is CANstructed in such a way that the tab & vent are set a little further back than on a regular CAN + they are also slightly larger. It gave me a good battle but finally succumbed to my superiority. 8=) I CANducted a modified Glug since this type of CANtainer tends to dribble if one is not careful. I wound up with two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with excellent retention which left a load of sticky lacing in its wake. Color was the most gorgeous Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-plus quality clarity (button/ filament brightness!) that I have seen for a while & suddenly, I was fending off The Gelt Gang of Croesus, Midas & Mammon, who would have drank it all! 8=( Nose was not "new", but instead an olde skool throwback to the turn of the century when PNW hops were king. Mmm. This is the sort of thing in which I was indoctrinated as a hophead! Pine and grapefruit with a hint of cattiness. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was knee-knockingly good! It was highly resinous with pine, very citrusy with grapefruit & catty with Simcoe, the naughty kitten doing her business somewhere off in a CANorner. Mmm.
I CANnot remember exactly which beer of that era this reminded me of, but I know which one initially caused the scales to fall from mine eyes - Victory Hop Devil! This was NOT Hop Devil, but she was my first.
Oh man, this tasted SO good that I fully understood why The Gelt Gang had tried to wrest all of it away from me! The hops jones monkey on my back got a good scratching for his itch as I breathed deeply of the hops. Each sip was a cool, dry, pine/citrus revelation as I reveled in its hoppy glory! Praise be. Finish was likewise cool & dry & man, did I feel good about myself. YMMV.

Had this beer at the Rehoboth Beach, DE location this past weekend.
A - Medium gold color with perfect clarity and dense creamy white lacing.
S - Subtle citrus and pine on the nose.
T - Light citrus with some sweet flowery presence along with citrus fruit rind spiciness that slowly builds on the back end of the sip.
M - Big thick body that's soft and dry on the back of the tongue.
O - Didn't care for this beer initially but it grew on me.
