A - Slightly hazed golden in color, capped with a white head that recedes to a thin layer of bubbles, but has little lacing down the glass.

S - Emanates nice citrus hop aromas of orange, tangerine, mango, and some pine at the end.

T - Follows the nose with tropical fruit hop flavors, some caamel and honey sweetness mid-palate, and finishes with a pine/grapefruit combination.

M - This is what I want in a DIPA. Solid medium body with spot on carbonation, creating a huge, super creamy, slick mouthfeel. The finish leaves my mouth covered in hop oils, and not overly bitter.

D - 10%? No sign of the alcohol anywhere. I could drink this all day just for the mouthfeel. Good taste and aroma too!

Just received this growler from my man Gibby out in Philly. He assured me this was a tasty hoppy treat, can't wait! Drank from my Surlyfest mug.

Appearance- Pours a lightly chill hazed copper orange with a decently fluffy half finger white head. Not much of a cap remains but a thick collar is left behind along with a bit of random lacing.
Smell- Smells very hoppy and delightfully bitter with a big pineapple and green apple nose. A bit of grapefruit as well and the more I sniff, the more I get some orange peel. Enough that it sort of becomes the dominate scent. I don't get a tinge of anything but intense hoppy goodness.
Taste- Kind of a surprising taste after that nose. That orange that I was getting in the nostrils is running rampant in the taste. Not sure if there is orange zest or what but it's nice. A bit of grapefruit and peach mixes in as well adding a slightly more citric aspect to that orange. A crisp honey earthiness is noticeable as the beer finishes with maybe just a touch of toffee and toast. I can't believe this beer is 10%. Amazing.
Mouthfeel- Easily the thickest bodied IPA I've ever had. It's pretty rich and oily with a light spritzy carbonation.
Drinkability- This is a damned tasty, full bodied IPA! I seriously can't get over that this beer is 10%. I don't think I'd guess over 6ish%. Really sort of a unique beer that I thoroughly enjoy. Thanks much Jeff!

A-Pours a clear golden with hints of copper, a plentiful white head and a little bit of lacing.

S-Sweet citrus and pine hops, tangerine, grapefruit and a bit of peach with some good malt behind.

T-Starts off with a sweet blend of malt and sweet citrus, with a great lend of pine, grapefruit and peach sweetness and a bit of tangerine. As the beer warms, some nice honey notes and a hint of alcohol also come through.

M-Surprisingly light on the palate, though some good lingering bitterness stays on the tongue.

D-Outstanding really. Lots of depth and complexity, dangerously drinkable.
