On tap at Iron Hill Media.

Served in a standard shaker pint glass.

Traditional looking English IPA...medium copper color, cloudy and unfiltered with a thin, soapy layer of head. Decent head retention and lacing.

Smell is of floral hops. Not too bitter, not over the top. Just a nice smelling English IPA. Taste is very similar. The hops are flowery and earthy. Caramel malts provide a real nice complement to the hops. A well balanced IPA.

Mouthfeel is medium with a sticky, resinous quality. Carbonation is slightly prickly and makes for a nice drinking pint. Definitely sessionable.

Overall, a pretty standard English IPA. Nothing too exciting, but definitely tasty and drinkable. Could easy spend a night at Iron Hill drinking a few of these.

Called Indian Pale Ale on the beer menu, India Pale Ale on the board. Had this one on tap on 8/19/10

A-Pale, clear gold with a frothy white head, good retention and sticky lacing.

S-Floral and sweet with subtle earthy hops.

T-Delicious. Earthy in the front, dissolving into a mango sweetness in the finish. Bitterness is solid but not overwhelming at any point.

D-Crisp, dry, good lingering bitterness.

D-Low ABV, great flavor, remarkable balance and subtlety for this combo of hoppiness and ABV. The beer Stone 14 should have been.
