Sampled at Maple shade location.Possibly based on the Honey do wit recipe but the alcohol is much lower at 7.0% rather 9.5% original. Brewed with orange blossom honey.
A: In the chalice a honey golden orange coloring projects a slight haze. On top lied a fizzy chalk white head that was quick to dissipate. Visible carbonation was hard to make out but appeared rather light. A nice coloring, perhaps a bit darker then usual. The lacing is thin lined, with giant gaps.
S: On the nose was a slight detection of honey malt along with some fresh oranges and a touch of lemons.
T: The flavor was sweet honey malt, enough to take notice, but not enough so as to dominate and run into other flavors. Some bitterness occurs on the swallow, along with some dry wheaty oranges on the close and fade. Not to much spiciness or complexity, a smooth light tartnss occurs with an overall light factor.
M: The carbonation feels okay, but is not as crisp or dominant as i feel it should, some tingle but not overwhelming. The body is light with some dry wheat texture.
D: Decent drinkability per style. Smooth and an easy interpretation good for first timers to the style. Not overbearing spicy or tart.
