Poured from a bottle into sniffer glass in June 2023. i do not see any bottled or brewed on dates on the bottle, but the label listed this as "Vintage 2022".
Appearance: Medium Golden color. Light colored thick head. The head was about 2 fingers, with fine bubbles. The head lasted a couple of minutes and then left a thin covering on the beer. There is only a little lacing on the glass.
Smell: Pleasant, with a sweet aroma like honey, as well as a little pepper.
Taste: This is good Tripel with a very nice balance. It has a lot of flavor. I like the balance of hops, fruity sweetness (I taste bananas), alcohol, and some peppery spices. This is one of the best Belgium ales I have tried.
Mouthfeel: This is very smooth, with a medium weight in the mouth.
This is a very good Belgium Ale, and one of the best I have tried along with Weyerbacher's Merry Monks. I would buy this again.
