First had: on tap at Iron Hill, Media, PA
A tasty Russian imperial stout from Iron Hill. Poured opaque black and thick into a stem glass. A decent tan head that receded pretty quickly. Cocoa and coffee aroma mostly, with some alcohol coming through. More coffee and some chocolate notes in the taste, very roasty malts, and an alcohol bite. Smooth, full body, and very drinkable, but with a distinct alcohol sweetness.
