First had: on tap at Iron Hill, Media, PA
A bit deceptive, as I expect a beer called "Noel" to be a winter warmer of some sort. Instead this was a fairly average sweet stout. On tap during the '10 holiday season. Poured dark black with little to no head. Sweet malts and semi-sweet chocolate in the nose. Sweet and roasty malt taste, with some semi-sweet chocolate and just an inconspicuous tad of nutmeg perhaps. A bit on the thin side for a stout, but still pretty smooth and drinkable.
