Served in a small pilsner glass.
A: Dark brown with a tan film that left some sticky lacing.
S: Wow, coffee, in a good way. Rich roasted delicious smelling coffee.
T: Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Wonderful roasted coffee flavor. Some chocolate notes too, but mostly coffee.
M: Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Rich and almost chewy. Wonderful. Slightly warm too.
O: This beer was labeled Afternoon Delight on their menu, a name which almost turned me away, but I'm a glad it didn't. If you like coffee, you'll really like this beer.

Transcribed from undated notes.
A finger of foamy, deep-tan head with good retention. Color was a Stygian black, black as night, black as the Ace of Spades, it were. Even the white bits was black. Light penetration was nil. Nose was rich with a scent of freshly roasted coffee, like walking into Nicholas Coffee Company in Pittsburgh. Mouthfeel was moderately full and silky smooth on the tongue. Taste was as equally rich as the nose, intermingling the darkest versions of both coffee and chocolate. Zounds! Finish was smoky, roasty, chocolaty. Nice.
