A: Ice tea coloring, fair clarity, with a thin frothy light beige head that retains nicely for its size. Light spacious rise of effervesce with a thin film coating for lace of decent coverage.
S: The nose held little hop aroma, really hard to pick up on. A touch of fruitiness, but hard to define. Vague tea herbal notes.
T: The flavor had a decent spicy bite of hops upfront with a nice dryness of toasted specialty grains. Some starchiness. Hops show little distinguishing character, you can taste the hop bitterness but struggle to define any notable pronounced flavors. Small spicy fruity nature upon warming is the best it gets.
M: Tingly carbonation, edgy feel, malt feels a bit more fuller then it came off in the flavor with some toasty dry notes.
O: Overall a ipa that lacks hop flavor but shows some hop bitterness. Leaves a warmth of dry hops and alcohol behind. Very restrained, more of a british style, malt and hop usage wise. best suited as an entry ipa for those unfamiliar per style and want to avoid a hop shock.
