Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. This was on tap at the brewpub. The appearance was a slight hazy burnt orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that dissipated after the first sip. The smell had a light earthy spice with a sweet grassy, slight orange peel followed by a light piney aroma. The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors and combined subtly in a slight refined sort of way. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and somewhat bitter with a good harshness but nothing over the top. Overall, this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.

A - gold to copper, medium head, decent laces
S- slight citrus, grass
T- balanced, floral, slight orange, hoppy with medium bitterness, crisp
M- medium body, soft finish, pleasant
O- can't decide if it is more wit than ipa or vice-versa, not quite the home run I thought it would be
Served in an oversize wine glass

A medium bodied, firmly hopped American IPA fermented with Belgian Witbier yeast and spiced with orange peel.
a: This was a cloudy, murky golden color. It was served to me with a medium sized, sticky head.
s: Lots of citrus peel, with hints of earthy yeast and an odd hop note.
t: Just o.k., this doesn't come together very well. Too much orange peel and a strange sweetness that seemed out of place. Not a whole lot of hop character.
m: Nice and chewy.
o: This just didn't work for me.
