This is a collaboration with Yards brewery, Iron Hill and Stewarts.
A: single finger head on a clear crimson body with scattered lacing.
S: Aroma is mostly caramel with earthy and floral hops. Very light considering the hop content in the taste.
T: very malty IPA with candied fruit flavor that coats the palate, molasses, floral bittering hops and peppery spice finish.
M: creamy body and moderate carbonation.
Overall: fairly strong on the end of barleywine sweetness and malt content. The hops are strong as well. This one doesn't mask the alcohol well though. Not very drinkable but worth trying.
