Screw-top growler received via Growling at the Moon from imstillthegman. Thanks for the brew, Guy!
First imperial pint pours with a 1/4" cocoa brown head, over the opaque dark brown/black brew. Head slowly recedes with sheeting, slow-falling lace. Aroma is coffee and chocolate.
Taste is pervasive throughout with powdered cocoa, coupled with a slightly acrid coffee and a perky bitterness at the close. Mouthfeel is smooth, with good drinkability. Nice sessionable brew here.
