e0,5l bottle with a best by date of 01/12/23. Quite a unique Helles. Nose and flavor are heavy on the rich, grainy malt this style is known for yet this is sweeter than most. Creamy and smooth, drinks heavy, especially for the style. A tad cloying towards the end. A good beer but wouldn’t be able to drink through an evening.

50 cl bottle @ from De Bierkoning home. Pours a clear golden colour and a firm white head with reasonably good retention and some lacing. Aroma's are grassy, malty/grainish, a bit sweetish and fruity. Retronasal there's more (bready) malty sweetness to it with light fruit and a hint of hops. Flavour islight sweet and somewhat fruity. Nice body, not thin at all. Flavour develops towards light bitterness in the finish. Excellent for the style.

This hell pours a light orange color, slightly darker than the typical hell, with a medium foamy white head and a fairly high amount of carbonation. The smell is a little yeasty and bready, but fairly mild. The flavor is a little more pronounced than most hells that I’ve had. There are light but quite assertive bready malts, yeast, and a dry slightly acerbic finish. The body is on the light end of medium, but still a little heavier than most hells that I’ve tried. Most hells to me aren’t really that interesting and they’re definitely not a top style of beer for me. That being said, I think this is one of the better ones that I’ve tried. It is really well rounded and has some very nice malt character for a light beer while it still remains light and refreshing. It’s a pretty nice beer to have when you’re craving a light beer.

From a bottle.
Clear filtered light golden body with lots of big bubbles. Mainly coarse foam, white, meta-stable, little
Lacing
Aroma is hay, with spicy hops, when warming up and foan has settled pilsner malt gets more prominent
Taste is shortly Pilsner malt, followed by hop spicyness also a bit lingering
Quite full body for the style, tickling and minerally carbonation.
Remarkable hop presence for the style. Very well executed and quite complex in its simplicity. Carbonation could be more smoothly integrated. Nice.
P.S.: as it really warms up on this first real summer day it even develops banana flavor.

From the half liter bottle, it pours amber with a nice head. The head lasts and lasts, being replenished by the steady stream of bubbles arching up from the bottom. Malty flavor and scent. Lovely bottle of helles. Wow!
