Free to be and unrestrained, Hazy Double IPA flying higher than most. We double dry-hopped Unfettered Soul with huge doses of Mosaic and Australian Galaxy. It is medium-bodied and supremely balanced.

Pours a pale amber/ orange color with a white head.
Fresh floral and citrus hops with sour fruits and bitter herbs.
Resinous hops backed by citrus notes. Finishes with dry bitter herbs after a nice slight hit of biscuit malt.

Pours fairly cloudy yellow, fluffy white head, soapy lacing
Aromas of tropical fruits, berries, citrus, citrus rind
Taste is most definitely a juice bomb, peach , pineapple, melon, lime, orange and a hint of berries
Mouthfeel is full and chewy, a bit hoppy and a crisp finish
Overall it’s a nice balance of sweet, bitter and cream. Well layered

Purchased at Wegmans, no understandable date, pours golden amber with a downy froth head that reduces to sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma is outstanding peach, passion fruit. Smell is my weakest sense and so when I can vividly pick up aroma I am very excited. Taste is peachy Now and Laters, sweet tangerine, pineapple. There is minor smacky, sticky sweet and savory bitterness. It’s very good. StrangeBird is a great up and comer brewery in Rochester. Solid recommend!

No obvious canning date. Pours an amber color with light haze. The can label notes use of Mosaic, Cascade and Galaxy hops. A nice pour.

Decent sipper DIPA, some hopburn but strong from malt and hop flavour is there, pineapple and tropical fruit. On draft at the source. Some sweaty aroma.

Hazy golden straw (SRM 3-5) builds a billowing, two-inch, creamy, off-white head. The head holds for a minute, then consolidates to one-and-a-half inches while leaving a dense coating of lace on a StrangeBird IIPA glass.
The aroma opens with the freshness of a tall, grassy field and a lemon tang. Light orange pith follows, and warmth brings out earthy grass.
The flavor is initially filled with strong bitterness. Sweetness quickly follows, lending some control. However, bitterness still remains dominant. The hop flavors are clear, though no particular fruit comes to mind. Citrus in general combines with pine. The citrus is more pithy than pulpy. There is a long, modest finish.
A medium body with the texture of jersey cotton. Carbonation is soft, yet ample with alcohol being as expected. Dryness brings out a light astringency. Each swallow presents a pleasant bitter bite at the back of the throat.
This beer showcases both the galaxy and mosaic hops. It is old school with modern elements and no pretentiousness. My first can was outstanding. Once I adjusted for reviewing purposes, I realized just how much I miss the old-school approach to an IPA. The second can was perfect on a cool, sunny, Saturday afternoon out back.

This one pours a moderately hazy golden yellow color, with a small head and lots of lacing.
This smells super Vermont-y, almost Alchemist-like in conception, with bitter piney and marijuana-ish hop character, peach, grapefruit, and orange peel.
This has a wonderful bitterness that's just missing from a lot of IPAs these days. The bitterness is clean and refreshing, with a nice and juicy hop character to back it up.
This is medium bodied, crisp, and clean, with a great drinkability to it.
I am extremely excited for the future of this brewery.
