Two inches of fluffy white head compresses over several minutes to hold a one inch meringue. Patchy lace is left on a Strangebird IIPA glass. The beer itself has a hazy orange glow and a curtain of fine carbonation that quickly washes the inside of the glass.
The aroma opens with orange juice, punctuated by guava and tart passion fruit. There is a mild aroma of wet socks.
The flavor opens with tart lime, followed by tangerine, then guava. Sweetness is fairly prominent against acidity and light sourness that builds with warmth. The finish is long with mild tartness and bitterness adding lactic flavors.
This one has a full body and a texture of velour, soft and plush. The alcohol seems higher than six percent. Prickly carbonation entertains the mouth and tickles the back of the throat.
This is a good brunch beer.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells lightly acidic and funky orange, with some light guava and passionfruit.
This is kind of boring. There's not a ton of fruit character here, but the base beer itself is also not that interesting. It kind of just seems all lazily done and put together.
This is light bodied, fairly clean, and at least pretty drinkable.
This is kind of just boring to me. Strangebird has had other better beers so far.
