Pours a nice light golden color with a tall, frothy, white head.
Fresh roasted grain, lemon citrus, and floral earthy hops in the nose.
Taste follows nose with delightful balance and a subtle sharp sour twang in the dry finish.

On tap at Strangebird Beer in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This doesn't smell "oaky" per se, but it does have a pleasant rounded sweetness, some grain, and a nice hop character.
This has a very pleasant grassy bitterness, with a round, pleasant, and mildly malt character. It's definitely a nice elevated take on a "lower end" local style.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and nicely full bodied for the style, with a great drinkability.
Even without any overt oak presence, you can tell the barrel fermentation lead to a more pleasant drinking experience here.
