On tap at Strangebird Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark brown color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like caramel, oak, dark chocolate, and toast.
This works out extremely well, with a nice rounded creamy oaky feel to it, with a rich, slightly sweet maltiness – caramel, toasted breadiness, and a little bit of chocolate.
This is creamy, rich, with a great smooth body to it, with a great drinkability.
I hope Strangebird keeps going in this direction – this is excellent.
