On tap at Strangebird in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a clear golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like lemony hops, grapefruit, some light breadiness, and pine.

This is a well done, simple, and no frills West Coast IPA, with a pleasantly resinous bitterness, just a light bit of bready malt character, and lots of grapefruit, orange, and lemony hop flavors. It’s well balanced between all the flavors.

This is lighter bodied, with a slightly lingering bitterness, and a great drinkability.

This brewery is doing nearly everything right for me at this point.

From my hometown Rochester NY, I’ve been sitting on this for a month, pours golden translucent with a magnificent head that stuck around. Aroma is very mild berry, pine maybe. Taste is delic mild berry, some bread, bitter, smacky. Feel is soft, sticky, dry, smacky. It’s pretty tasty imo!

Gifted from a fellow BA in an iced shipment arriving cold. Refrigerated immediately and until served. Poured from a 16 oz undated can to a bulbous, tulip-like glass.
Pours out deep gold. Almost clear, but not quite, certainly not hazy. The head is small but thick, about ⅜”/10mm. It settles to a single layer in about 2 minutes, but revives itself to be a little thicker after a glass tilt for a sip. Lacing is pretty, but fleeting.
The aroma is not that strong. Subtle citrus and berry, but I have to struggle to find that.
In the mouth this has all the hallmarks of an old school West Coast IPA. A brief sense of bready malt is followed by some resiny hop sense that bitters out nicely in the finish.
The mouthfeel is slightly oily, adding to the body actually. Carbonation is a little light, but it works.
I’m a sucker for what nowadays is the few and far between West Coast IPA. This definitely scratches that itch in taste. Although the body is not clear, I can ignore that, it's just a style checkbox. This beer tastes good and that's what counts.
