Strangeburner is a wood-aged sour beer. It's a blend of Strangebird's Belgian Golden and Big Ditch Brewing Company's Hayburner IPA. It has aromas of grapefruit, guava, passion fruit, and lemongrass.

On tap at Strangebird Brewery in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells lightly funky, with passionfruit, lemon, lime, grapefruit, guava, and marijuana.
I really wasn’t sure about this one when I heard it was coming out, but it’s honestly quite good. It reminds of some of the hoppier Farmstead ales from Hill Farmstead, but with more of an emphasis on the hoppier side of it. Hayburner is a local classic for me, and the beers pleasantly soft juiciness and clean bitterness come through, along the tart juiciness and light barrel from Strangebird’s BA Belgian golden ale contribution.
This is lighter bodied, slightly creamy, and vey drinkable, with a manageable acidity.
This is absolutely goes hard – I really enjoyed it.
