On tap at Strangebird Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy mostly clear golden yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells wheaty and citrusy, with clove, grassy and spicy hops, orange, and grapefruit.
I can’t even come close to remembering the last time I saw a white IPA – they sort of had their moment in the sun like a decade ago, and then faded away. This is nice, with a pleasantly citrusy, clovey, and slightly yeasty character to it, with a crisp grassy and spicy bite on the finish.
This is medium bodied, wheaty and full, with a crisp clean finish.
This is a nice rendition of a definitely forgotten style.
