On tap at Strangebird Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy straw yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like grassy hops, lemon, orange, tangerine, pine, and bready malt.
This really is reminiscent of Carton Boat Beer to me, seems to occupy a similar space. It’s got a nice dry hop bitterness on the finish, with a touch of bready malt sweetness to keep this from being too thin or bitter. There’s some orange and lemon like hop juiciness, too.
This is light bodied, very light bodied but wouldn’t call it thin, with a great drinkability.
This fits into its niche quite well.
