Strangebird Beer

This one pours a light orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells somewhat citrusy, with strawberry, some herbal funky notes, and white wine.

I wish we saw more strawberry rhubarb wild ales, the combination works really well. There’s lots of herbal funky things going on here, with a nice tart strawberry, with the rhubarb adding some tart and sort of vegetal character. There’s a touch of citrusy wine barrel, too.

This is light bodied, with some pleasant and manageable acidity on the back end.

I love how unique and “non-cool” most of Strangebird’s beers are – they’re not chasing trends, just making good beer.
