Bright and crispy. Slight malt quality, and bitterness. Hint of citrus and floral that gets better with every sip. Italian malt, lemon drop and contessa hops.

On side pull Lukr tap at Strangebird Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a brilliant golden yellow color, with a nice tight foamy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells wonderfully floral and lemony, with some botanical qualities, and a little bit of crackery malt.
I’m not surprised at all that Strangebird has given me an excellent Italian pilsner here. It’s got a nice little lemon rind thing going, touch of grapefruit and floral hop spice, with a very nice supportive but not sweet malt backbone. This is clean as can be, with no off flavors at all.
This is poured and presented extremely well. It’s crisp, clean, and just supremely drinkable.
This is exactly what I need from a local brewery, it’s just such a treat that we have Strangebird.
