Copenhagen 14/7 2023. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Salikat's usual can design in black and dark grey. Very uplifting.
Pours opaque, hazy, slightly dirty golden yellow with a big white head. stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of fam with rather big bubbles. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of overripe and fermented tropical fruit mingling with a bit of zesty citrus. Sweet mango and peach. Decay and petroleum. Lemon and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by an almost as strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a touch of alcohol.
Potent without being boozy.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Aksdal. ABV is 10.0%. Opaque yellow colour, small and coarse white head. Aroma of citric, grassy, herbal and spicy hops. Hoppy flavour as expected, rich body but not too sweet. Flavour of grapefruit, pine needles and resin, hints of yellow stonefruits and tropical fruits, distinct bitterness in the finish and aftertaste.
