Hygge is a collaborative beer project that we crafted in partnership with the talented brewers at Deya Brewing Company in the UK. Our goal for this beer was to create something delicate and easy-drinking, while also adding a unique twist to the typical amber ale. The malt base predominantly features UK pale malt, complemented by Norwegian Vienna malt and a touch of specialty colored malts. We then hopped the beer with UK Bramling Cross hops during the kettle and whirlpool stages, and added Mosaic hops in the dry hop. Cheers!

Copenhagen 29/12 2023. 44 cl can from Best of Beers webshop. Orange can with Salisktt's S and a crocodile head to signify that this is ColLab with British Deya.
Pours opaque murky amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of toasted malts mingling with a citric scent. Toffee, caramel and toasted bread. Lemon and citrus. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a citric streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Intense and impressively bitter Amber Ale.
