This beer is substantial! The robust body from Golden Promise malt and oats enables it to carry a serious dry-hopping of Mosaic, HBC586 and Talus hops. We then allowed it a lengthy conditioning time for a juicy sensation without the green character often associated with big beers and substantial dry hops. Enjoy!

Copenhagen 31/10 2024. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Black can looking like a close-up of something like dark granite.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fruity odor of fermented Stone fruits and alcohol with sharp notes of citrus fruit. Mango and papaya. Overripe. Boozy scent lurking. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a strong boozy presence. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a distinct touch of alcohol.
Quadruple indeed. Boozy and bitter.
