Christmas on Fire 2024 is a west coast IPA, brewed to save your palate from the heavy foods and sweet pastries that come with Christmas. The beer is dry and crisp, as a West Coast IPA should be, with an assertive bitterness. This year’s version is hopped with Chinook, Centennial, Columbus, and Amarillo hops for a dank, citrusy, and piney hop character. God Jul!

Frederiksberg 6/11 2024. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor of tropical fruit s mingling with by a tatt scent of citrus fruit. Passion fruit and pineapple. Tart citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft and smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
They wish me a bitter Christmas.
