Copenhagen 11/11 2024. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Grey and Black mountain range on the can.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick, creamy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling of the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light odor of tropical fruit mingling with sharp citrus fruit and a bit of alcohol. Pineapple and a light touch of mango. Grapefruit and lemon. Whiff of metallic alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and tart. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Tart, citric and dry.

440 ml can, as Salikatt Switchback New England Double IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Cloudy yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma and flavour of citrus, various tropical fruits, sprucetips and pine needles. Nice beer.
