Copenhagen 16/12 2025. 44 cl can from Øltanken web-shop. Black can with the brewery's characteristic "S" in silver.

Pours opaquer unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles a a 3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the ides of the glass-. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and pleasant odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a more aggressive scent of citrus fruit. Touch of pine. Sweet peach and a hint of mango. Grapefruit and lemon. Resin.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.

Fine for a fast break. If you are trying to get drunk.

440 ml can, as Salikatt Fast Break New England Double IPA, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 8.0%. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of pine needles, sprucetips and grapefruit. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavour like the aroma, but the bitterness is quite moderate. Some sweet citrus too. Another good beer from Salikatt, but not their very best.
