Brick Mark is all about malt. Hand-selected roasted and crystal malts make this beer rich in malt-derived chocolate and caramel flavors. To top it off, we added a touch of high-quality cocoa nibs and toasted coconut. Enjoy!

Copenhagen 8/12 2025. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V- Black can with Salikatt's usual big "S" in silver grey.

Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin patch of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and toasted odor mingling with a healthy dose of chocolate. Sweet dark malts, toasted bread, chocolate and cocoa. Sweet scent of coconut.

Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.

Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish and bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

Satisfying if somewhat short-lived Brown Ale.

440 ml can, as Salikatt Brick Mark Chocolate Brown Ale, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 7.5%. Very dark brown to black colour, large to moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of roast malts, mild coffee and cocoa. Flavour with the same elements, also some caramel, but not too sweet. Moderate hops. This is more of a brown porter than a brown ale in my book, but who cares, as long as it tastes good?
