I am starting the night with this beer, a Helles, something refreshing to combat the heat and humidity. I am using a Bruery Flute and serving it at 42 degrees. The pour created a frothy, foamy two-fingered white head with above-average retention. The somewhat slow dissipation left chunks of lacing on the glass. The color is pale amber with light straw yellow hues, clear clarity, and charts at SRM 2. The appearance of the beer is above average for this style.
Nosing the glass, I smell crackers, light floral hops, lightly toasted malts, white pepper, earthy, grassy, and light phenol notes.
The flavors start with white pepper, moving to a floral bouquet, grassy, resin, light crackers, mineral/sulfur, biscuits, lightly toasted malts, and earthy with a light fruitiness.
The mouthfeel is light and clean, and the finish is crisp. The body is light and has medium-plus carbonation.
Final Thought: The beer style stated is Helles, but the beer does not quite translate to that for me. The malt bill is heavy, although it does finish clean. What is odd is this light fruitiness that pops up in the nose and the taste. I was expecting a clean, crisp, slightly spicy, with lovely floral notes; while I did get some of that, it was not enough.

Clean and fresh taste, not to hoppy. Not a heavy beer at all. Good aroma. Nice to drink around a campfire with friends

A good although somewhat estery lager with nice grainy malt flavors and noble hop flavor. The head looks great at first but quickly dies away, the nose is too fruity for the style in my opinion, but overall it tastes good and is a great local option for cooking up some brats.

Picked up on my recent Montana trip... Pours crystal clear golden with a short lived sudsy white head.... Very clean and grainy and expected lightly sweet with some grassy hops... Very drinkable... Perfect while grilling and waiting for the Billings heat to give way to the evening.

A fairly aggressive pour from a longneck into a shaker produces about 1/2 inch of short-lived head. A very thin veneer of lace is maintained by the fairly high carbonation. The beer is a distinctly hazy yellowish-gold color.
I get some noble hop aromas, but also quite a bit of ale-like esters. The flavor is also rather estery-fruity, with notes suggestive of apple, pear, and/or pineapple. These flavors are nicely balanced with and earthy and slightly floral bitterness. It has a nice snappy bite on the finish and has a rather creamy mouth feel.
This reminds me very much of a cream ale I tried at a local brewery. It is light, but with a fruitiness suggestive more of ale than lager. Nevertheless, it is pretty tasty and easy enough to drink.
