This single malt base beer allows the 4 different hop varieties really shine. With citrus notes from Denali to tropical fruit aromas from El Dorado, Calypso and Huell Melon. You wont know you are drinking a 54 IBU lager.

A- This one pours a light golden color that has a fair bit of suspended yeast, providing a mostly hazy appearance. The head is soapy looking, and starts out around one finger in thickness. The retention is modest, and eventually settles down to a very white looking film over the liquid. The carbonation appears to be modest, with several columns of fizz rising to the top of the glass in uniform fashion. The lacing is good too, as there is sticky thick clumps clinging to the inside of my glass. Very decent appearance!
S- I get a very mellow aroma overall, with lots of yeasty bread right from start to finish. There are notes of banana, clove, citrus flesh, wheat, bread like malts that sweeten things up and a finish that borders on slight hop bitterness, grassy tones and dry cereal grains.
T- Flavors follow suit to the aromas very well with huge yeast, bread/biscuits, wheat malt with hints of sweet citrus (mandarin orange comes to mind), even some cantaloupe/honeydew melon blend! The finish comes across well rounded in terms of fresh yeasty sweetness and just a slight hopped bitterness right at the end of the swallow.
M/O- This has a medium/full body and is rather creamy on the palate when it comes to the carbonation. I'm quite certain that I'd buy this again in a sixer as it is rather drinkable and I think this would make a great hot weather kind of brew....something I didn't experience in particular on this Summer evening lol. Good job!
