a very cool place up the canyon past the campus, kind of has a chalet or lodge vibe to it, very classy vibes, a little cafe on one side when you walk in and a small dining area and open kitchen with a couple of wood fired ovens on the other side, most of the seating is upstairs in an airy room with open wooden rafters and a ton of windows to take in the scenery outside, a fireplace, and a minimalist aesthetic, its a gorgeous space. they are currently making all their brews as collabortions at local breweries around the city, but we were told they are in the process of putting their own on site. its a cool idea now though too, and we had neat beers in collaboration with shades and kiitos in particular, but they are working with others as well, the quality across the board is very high. we liked a hazy ipa and a classic weissbier the best. not a huge selection of their own, but they build out a pretty good guest beer list too. the food was also awesome, pizza was very good (but not quite epic) and other menu items were also impressive, as was the service. definitely a bit of a destination spot outside of town, but its a very unique experience that i imagine will only get even cooler once the brewery goes in. great date spot, lunch trip, or afternoon excursion, we had a great time and will definitely go back. classed up without being pretentious, neat food, fun beer. we will be back!
