the best of the hoppy beers i have had from these guys to date and a definitely improvement over the last one i had, a sign they are starting to get things a little more dialed in here with these styles. this is very pale, quite juicy, obviously liberally dry hopped, but still with some bitterness in the finish too, well rounded as the hazy ones go, and i like the more assertive finish. it definitely has a tropical fruity nose to me, mango and pineapple juice, lemongrass, maybe even coconut, very bright and fresh, just a touch green to me, but a lot less so than their first hazy series beer. the flavor is fruity too, more melon than anything else here, very ripe, and with a neat sort of starchy almost creaminess from the grain, raw wheat likely in here, i really like what the grain profile does here, giving this some balance without any sweetness, and some body without making it heavy in any way, the high carbonation is also appreciated here. there is a bit of linger but the beer is pretty clean overall, and its an obvious improvement over where they were before. drinkable enough to have a few pints of too which is always nice for a hazy. i liked this better than their first higher abv hazy too.
