Floral, firm, crsip and clean, The Big Friendly is getting friendly with the single hop variety of Hallertau Mittelfruh generously piled on a pilsner base for a showcase of what these noble hops do best.
Pale straw and bubbly with a cottony white froth, Inner Flight hits the nose with a delicate floral nature and a spicy herb scent. A bounce of pilsner malt hits the palate and dissolves rapidly from the dry malt substrate and the brisk carbonation that fuels a crisp and refreshing session. A transition from floral to spicy, the late taste is pleasantly grassy, herbal and peppery for a more hop-forward taste than standard premiums pilsner.
Light, dry and crisp, the hops show an assertive bite with the aid of the bubble's carbonic bite for a scrubbing mouthfeel and a refreshing session with some low-lying minerality and hop derived astringency.
