Floral, firm, crisp and clean, The Big Friendly is getting friendly with the single hop variety of Saaz generously piled on a Czech pilsner base for a showcase of what these noble hops do best.

Bright gold and carrying a modest haze, Intermission forges onward with a bubbly white foam and a floral scent of flowery bouquet, light fruitiness and a spicy, grassy scent. As a firm malt backbone of fresh bread and honeysuckle make a quick introduction, the sweetness rapidly dissolves and the floral hops turn spicy with an assertive grassy, herbal and peppery bite on the late palate.

Medium-light, crisp and refreshing throughout, the bolder than usual use of hops on a bohemian styled pilsner gives it's drier than usual balance, racier carbonation and accelerated bitterness to finish.
