Packaged December 2025. Released approximately 12/19/25 per Big Friendly’s instagram.
L: Pours a hazy yellow gold with a big fluffy white head that doesn’t last long. Thin irregular lacing that is pleasing to the eye.
S: Aroma of Riwaka hops (of which Eggers Special is a type, per instagram) and mango.
T: Lots of Riwaka up front, with a super-concentrated citrus flavor profile that’s a little scratchy on the throat. Some mango in the middle. Finishes slightly dry with no bitterness.
F: Medium mouthfeel and carbonation.
O: A showcase for the Eggers Special, described by the brewery as “a rare, elite selection of Riwaka hops” from New Zealand. A little sharp, but Riwaka lovers will dig.
