Brown color and clear. Light passes through the center of the glass easily. Moderate bar-poured head which leaves a few wide streaked bands of lace.
Interesting aroma that resembles charcoal and paprika. It's attractive but very different.
Thinner body with a higher level of carbonation. There's an ashen quality to the beer with darker and dryer malts. This creates a balanced finish and moderate aftertaste.
