a very good hazy here, one of the best locally made, especially by an operation this small, really well done. its lighter in mouthfeel than many, is hazy but not heavy or filling in the least, and is packed with hops that do not seem to include mosaic or idaho 7, which it seems like every single one of these here uses, not unique per se, but at least its not the same old thing. this also has no greenness or bite to it despite maximum freshness, they are right to be leading with this out in the market, the recipe and the execution are both great. lemon and mango notes to me in aroma and flavor, a hint of sticky weed and bitter citrus, but its not the same old profile. there is a touch of honey character to the malt too, but its dry by the finish, clean even for a hazy, no hops burnt into my tongue, i taste it fresh again on each sip. i think the alcohol is higher than it is listed here, says 7.4% abv on their menu, but it is well hidden at that strength, and this is a very drinkable pint overall. good attention to detail, fun hop profile, and a beer i would put up against most locally made hazy ones here in boise!
edit: many years later i am picking up a vanilla note in the finish, and i suppose its possible this has changed with the move to the new downtowm meridian brewery, its a pleasant note that softens some hop bite and lingers in a way that enhances it. perhaps slightly fatiguing overall, but still a really solid haze from these guys...

Crowler fill from the brewery, hazy straw pour with off-white head, nose of sweet citrus juice and some spices/herbaceous notes, hints of mint. More malt emerges on the flavors, not necessarily a sweet beer, flash of bitterness, nice hop character that leans fruity still. Medium body with lower carbonation.

Crowler from brewery. Pale golden with a light haze. Light fruity aroma recalls citrus. Taste brings in some tropical flavors, melon. Light on the palate but not in body. Very approachable.
