an incredibly simple and clean pale ale here, best when tasted on its own, but quite similar to some of the other hoppy beers they do in here, especially the session, and if you have them all in a row like you might in a flight, i think they might get a bit derivative. that said, i like how bright this is, how it has just enough malt to be multidimensional, and just enough hops to pop, but remains reserved in all aspects. the level of refinement is high, clear and glowing in the glass, a pretty inch of white and lasting head, and excited carbonation that makes this drink extremely light despite it having some malt body. its not a particularly memorable or unique beer, but its nice to see this level of execution here, i think they are making a name for themselves with quality not weird ingredients or recipes, and i have a lot of respect for that. this wont be anyones favorite pale ale ever, but it will scratch the itch for something hoppy and drinkable awfully well. perfect with some spicy tacos last night!

16oz crowler from brewery. Medium to dark golden, clear, foamy head dissipates to thin ring. Light malty aroma, hay, straw. Taste brings the hops, mild citrusy notes with some orange peel. Sticky, mouth coating.
